Why rent your leisure home?
The main reason for many people is the extra income the rent generates. We can not give any guarantee on how high the income will be, but we estimate that the rent in Brokke can give an extra income between 40 000 and 60 000 NOK each year. Further on, a occupied leisure home will reduce the chance of someone breaking in.

Who can rent their leisure home?
The leisure home must be of good standard, be fully furnished and must contain:

• Water/Sewer drain/Electricity
• TV
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Electric heaters
• Quilts and pillows
• Vacuum cleaner and cleaning accessories.

What does Brokke Aktivitet do?
Brokke Aktivitet does all the practical work regarding hiring out the leisure home. This includes:

• Marketing
• Ordering process
• Preheating of the leisure home in the winter season.
• Greeting the guests
• Solves problems for the guest under the stay if necessary.
• Collect keys when the guests leave
• Controls the leisure home after guests leave
• Preforms housecleaning if necessary.
• Pays rent to owner each quarter
• Brokke does not have any economic responsibility for any damage, theft or any other kind of loss in the contract period.

What does the owner do?

• Every 6. month the owner chooses the periods the leisure home is for hire.
• The owner can have a closet or a small room where private property can be kept. The rest of the leisure home must be available for customers.
• We ask that all valuable property should be removed before hiring out the leisure home
• Wardrobes, kitchen cabinets and bathroom shelfs shall be emptied.
• Owner must clean the leisure home properly before the contract period starts.
• The leisure home must be approved according to Norwegian laws. The owner must especially see to it that the leisure home is equipped with working fire alarms and that fire extinguishers are easily available.
• The owner must have the leisure home insured.

Hiring prices
We operate with different price groups. The price groups are based on number of beds, standard and size of the leisure home and so on. See guiding pricelist for more information.

Rent income is divided with 70 % to the owner and 30 % to Brokke Aktivitet. Payment to owner occurs every quarter. Payment only occurs if the leisure home has been hired out in the period.

Owner is billed a yearly administration cost of 750,- NOK.

Who can rent leisure homes through our booking system?
Brokke does not accept youth groups as guest. Tenants must be 25 years or older. The only exception is if a young couple want to rent a leisure home in Brokke.
