1 – General
1a – In order to be able to rent from us, you have to be over 25 years old.
1b – An overview of the rental objects can be found on the site under: www.brokke.com/booking/booversikt. There you find a.o. pictures, an inventory list and infos on beds.
1c – In case a shift of rental owner takes place on the same day, shall those leaving the object have right to its use to 16:00hr. Those moving in can not claim its use before 18:00hr. This only goes handovers on the same day.
1d – Final clean-out, use of wood and bed-linen are not included in the rental price. Please see under additional services, point 3.
2 – Rules of order
2a – If not otherwise spesified in the description of the object, smoking and pets are not allowed.
2b – One is requested to show consideration for neighbours and keep silence after 23:00hr.
2c – The right of rental is nontransferable to others.
2d – The rental owner vows to leave the object clean and in good state - as when it was handed over. That is to say, vacuumclean and wash all floors, the toilet and bath, do the dishes, empty the dishwasher, remove garbage and check the oven, fridge etc.. Clean-out can be ordered, see point 3.
2e – When the object is left, the windows are to be locked and doors closed. Lights and electric equipment should be turned off and the floorheat turned down, not off. In the object, you might find a binder with specific information on the object, use of machines, rules of use, tourist information etc..
3 – Additional services
3a – Final clean-out can be ordered for 550kr per object. Clean-out means cleaning, and not clearing and putting things in place. The object always needs to be left in good order, the dishes should be done and the dishwasher emptied.
3b – Bed-linen is rented out for 100kr per set and wood costs 100kr per 60l bag (check if your object has a fireplace on the website). Groceries can be purchased from the local store for 250kr. A warm meal catered in the hut/appartment can be ordered at Brokkestøylen, www.brokke.com/aktiviteter/brokkestoeylen.
4 – Abuse and damage
4a – Disregard for these rules may mean immediate rent denial and / or requests for additional compensation.
4b – The rental owner declares to compensate for damages to the object or its inventory. When agreement on the size of the damage can not be reached, this is to be established by a third person both parties agree upon.
4c – Lost keys cost 2000kr for replacement of the lock.
5 - Payment and compensation
5a – When not booked online and a bill is sent by mail, payment is due within 14 days. An additional administrative charge of 150kr is payable.
5b – After booking, there is a 14 days respite-period. Then, rental owners are entitled to a 70% refund for annulation of the booking, until 30 days before rental, when all rights to re-embursement are lost.
5c - If the rental owner upon arrival is discontent with the state of the object or other, he/she is urged to notify Brokke as soon as possible, so that we have the opportunity to rectify the problem. Complaints have to be made within 24hrs upon arrival. Compensation claims can not surmount the total rental sum.
6 - Key handover
6a – Keys are handed over at Brokkestøylen, and can be deposited there upon leaving. Brokkestøylen is situated along the Suleskarroad, 300m to the west of the big parking place to the alpine centre. Please take up contact a couple of days before arrival, so that we are waiting there for you (Hessel, tel 0047 90265133).
