The terrain around Brokkestøylen is aweinspiring! We propose our great family trips - canoeing to our wilderness camp and an idyllic walk to the historic mountain blockhut Forstøyl.
In the course of the summer, we also offer some guided sight-seeing trips and activities which will be published in the activities calendar a week in advance. Activities include: children's fishing trips where we draw nets with guaranteed catch of trout, sight-seeing trip the waterfalls of Valle, beaver-safari, building a raft ourselves and padling down the scenic Otra river and historic tours of Brokke.
The Brokke area has great hiking trails for families as well as experienced mountaineers - children can win a Brokke medal! Check it out!
In winter, we rent out skies, snowshoes and lots of outdoor gear. For groups we organise backcountry expeditions, icefishing, an exciting snowscooter course, camping in snowholes or in cosy mountain cabins - the whole often topped by great Norwegian food at Brokkestøylen and an evening with live Harang-fiddle music and a folkdance-course.
