A comprehensive network of marked footpaths exists in the Brokke area. You can walk in the mountains for days, or just take day trips. The mountain touring association of Kristiansand og Oppland manages six cabins in the Brokke area. The distance between the cabins varies, but generally the walk from one cabin to the next takes about 3 to 5 hours. In most of the cabins you will find food supplies.
