Brokke Aktivitet AS has rowboats in several of the Ivelungsvatna lakes and in Øyuvsvatn. These are used in net fishing, but can also be ordered by others. For more information, please contact Brokkestøylen.

Brokkestøylen also rents out canoes for paddling in the interconnected Ivlungsvatna lakes. These lie on the banks of the first Ivlungsvatn next to the Suleskarroad, and paddles can be obtained at Brokkestøylen. From the road, it takes a couple of hours to paddle to the innermost Ivlungsvatn. This is a great daytrip for the entire family, with only a couple of hundred meters canoe-carrying that mom and dad probably can take on. One passes a.o. Gunnarsheller, a primitive historic stone shelter.

From the innermost Ivlungsvatn, the canoes have to be carried considerably longer, but then one can paddle from Sandvatn and Monsvatn deep into the wilderness toward the DNT Gaukhei tourist hut, a trip which is described here. It is also possible to paddle through the Løken Fagre, to Rågeloni og further onto the Øyarvatn - an unforgettable 2-3 day trip. Carrying the canoes is tough. It is recommended to carry canoe and bagage in several shifts and to use the accompanying straps for carrying over the shoulder.

Brokkestøylen has also put up a big laptent on an idyllic spot at the innermost Ivlungsvatn. The tent is practically equipped for comfortable wilderness camping and is rented out in conjunction with canoes and camping gear like tarps, stoves, sleeping bags, inflatable matrasses and fishingrods. For those wishing to camp elsewhere, we also rent smaller five-person laptents. Treat yourself on a real wilderness experience and take the trip in!
