A støyl is a norwegian summer farm. In late spring, when the snow was gone, the people of the valley moved with their livestock to the mountain pastures. Brokkestøylen is such a summer farm where we host lots of animals! Last year, we had a flock of bottlelambs, a goat family, chickens, three horses and two ponnies, and last but not least the potbelly pig Gnøffen.

In winter these animals were on different farms in the valley, for then it was too cold up here. This summer though, most of them are in place again. Everyday at 11:00, you can help us feed them. We may even find some eggs and pet the rabbits!

There is lots to do on the farm:
- Jumping the haystack
- Bow and arrow shooting
- Poniriding for children
- Silverwashing with diploma and free amulet of what you found by Hasla in Valle
- And lots of free activities round and about.

Our animator organises exciting childrens activities by a weekly plan. In the course of the summer we offer a.o several kids evenings with possibilities to lay over, and childrens fishingtrips in the mountains. See our website www.brokkestoeylen.no for news from july 1st.

Rain and wind? The animals dont care, and neither do we. Drop in and you may come just in time for a warm raisin bun from the oven! We also have an assortment of indoorgames.
