A støyl is a norwegian summer farm. In late spring, when the snow was gone, the people of the valley moved with their livestock to the mountain pastures. Brokkestøylen is such a summer farm. Here you can come and greet our flock of bottlelambs, the chickens, rabbits and the two ponies Saffira and Lillian. Everyday at 11:00, you can help us feed them. We may even find some eggs and see if the rabbits can be patted.

Then you can get a ride on the ponies, shoot bow&arrow or wash real silver - with diploma and free amulet of what you found by Hasla in Valle. In the barn there is a playloft with table football and biljard, there is a beach, volleyball and football fields and several games round and about. In big parts of the summer we offer free children animation organised by volunteers. These activities follow a weekly schedule that can be found on our site www.brokkestoeylen.no from 01. july.

On the terrass or in our cosy blockhut-cafe you may enjoy farmlife with good food and drinks - we offer a choice of traditional dishes, childrens meals and goodies. Welcome!
